INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 19, 2017 -- ECO Vehicle Systems, a comprehensive “One-Stop-Shop” custom vehicle modifier/upfitter located in Union City, Indiana announces a new ship through program for General Motors Fort Wayne, Indiana assembly plant.
This ship through programs allow fleets to order Chevrolet Silverado and Sierra 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups and cab chassis and have them shipped directly from the manufacturing plant to ECO Vehicle Systems in Union City, Indiana for upfitting, body installation and other modifications, including interior packages, ladder racks, graphics packages, lighting, communications systems and alternative fuel systems installation (CNG or LPG).
Once the upfitting, body installations for other modifications are complete the vehicles are returned to the General Motors transportation system and quickly shipped to the dealer or fleet location specified with only a minimal handling changed from GM. This enables the upfitting and modification process to happen with minimum time and transportation delays and at lower costs.
The ECO Vehicle Systems ship through code for the Fort Wayne Plant is “TBR”.
