The release of “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 2 has been confirmed after its video teaser made the rounds online. Goku and Vegeta will be meeting an all-new character named Fu, who will reveal that Trunks got trapped in a not-heard-of world.

First, it is important to note that the anime series “Dragon Ball Heroes” is much like a promotional release from Bandai Namco for the video game of the same title. Luckily, the video game company is generous enough to give fans “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 2. However, the protagonists will be facing new challenges after getting to know new characters and new places.

According to the synopsis of “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 2, Trunks will be missing after he comes back from the future where he was training Goku and Vegeta. It turns out that he was trapped on a place called the Prison Planet. This unfamiliar location is being described as a mysterious facility since its exact location is unknown, but it is somewhere between the universes.

As Trunks goes missing in “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 2, the new character Fu appears and tells Goku and Vegeta of Trunks’ unfortunate fate. Meanwhile, Fu is also of a mysterious nature. Apart from being a new face in the franchise, Fu also exudes uncommon red-black ki. Fu’s presence somehow has a negative effect on Goku’s Super Saiyan form, where he cannot control his strength and anger, and not even Vegeta can do anything about it.

Meanwhile, the group of Goku and Vegeta starts looking for Dragon Balls in order to find Trunks and set him free. However, teasers for “Dragon Ball Heroes” episode 2 hint that the team will have to win battles first before rescuing Trunks.

As Goku tries to acquire Dragon Balls, he will be facing the new, non-canon character named Cooler. Interestingly, Cooler evolves into his golden form, which was originally created by Freeza.

The video game from Bandai Namco was originally released in 2010 on arcades and in 2013 on the Nintendo 3DS. Meanwhile, it is unclear whether there will be more episodes for its promotional anime series.
