Donald Trump made a surprising announcement when he said that he wants the public to see the contents of the Mueller report about Russia’s meddling in the US 2016 election. The POTUS said that he does not mind it at all and would be happy for the transparency.

According to CNN, President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday, March 20 that it does not bother him if the public would be allowed to see the documents relating findings of the investigation on Russia’s alleged interference in the previous presidential elections. The controversial Special Counsel Robert Mueller report also contains information about the US president’s possible alliance with Russia to make him win.

"I don't mind. I mean, frankly, I told the House, 'If you want, let them see it,'" the POTUS said when asked if the public has the right to see the result of the special counsel’s hard work on the investigation.

However, what he said today seems to contradict what he said just last week. via social media, he tweeted, "there should be no Mueller report."

In another tweet, Donald Trump wrote, "'The reason we have the Special Counsel investigation is that James Comey (a dirty cop) leaked his memos to a friend, who leaked them to the press, on purpose.' @KennedyNation Totally illegal!"

Democratic California Rep. Eric Swalwell is not convinced that Donal Trump meant what he just said about making the Mueller report public. "I don't believe him because he has obstructed every step along the way," he said.

Meanwhile, the Mueller's investigation is expected to be presented to the Department of Justice any day now. It contains the findings of Robert Mueller and his team who probed the case for almost two years. There's a possibility that the POTUS could be charged for obstruction of justice as previously suggested even before the full Mueller report is submitted to the office.
