President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Don Jr., is also known for launching attacks on their political enemies on social media. Don Jr.’s recent comments regarding former vice president Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, earned him a lot of criticism.
Don Jr. tweeted an article by The Daily Caller, featuring Hunter Biden’s hopes in a teaching position at UCLA, and said, “It’s almost like the whole Biden family is entity dependent on Joe holding public office.”
This is not the first time Don Jr. has made this kind of comment towards Hunter Biden as back in October, Don Jr. attacked Hunter on social media for acknowledging that he gained a lot in life because of his surname. Naturally, many people were quick to call Don Jr. out for his remarks, suggesting that he is projecting, given that Don Jr. is also benefitting from his father. Others pointed out that he makes the same points regarding his sister, Ivanka Trump, who happens to be the White House political adviser along with her husband Jared Kushner. One person had also pointed out that his name is literally his father’s full name.
Windsor Mann pointed out, with strong sarcasm evident, “It’s almost as if Donald Trump Jr. became a best-selling author because the RNC bought thousands of copies of his book during his father’s presidency.”
Meanwhile, President Trump has previously stated that he will use the Biden-Burisma investigation against Joe Biden should the former vice president become the Democrat nominee for president in the upcoming elections. Politico reports that Democrat lawmakers are now hoping that Joe Biden makes a stronger response against the attacks made by the President and his allies whether on social media or in public.
Many Democrat lawmakers in the House have their thoughts on what Joe Biden should do as a response given that despite the attacks having stemmed from discredited claims, with the facts heavily supporting Biden, they continue to make them in an attempt to affect his campaign. Some have said that Biden should raise the same points back at Trump’s children, Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. Others suggested that Biden be prepared to present the facts of the Ukraine scandal, but there are also those who said that Biden should point out that what Trump is trying to use against him is exactly what brought on the impeachment case.
