The staple weekly activity for many “Destiny 2” players is finding Xur. The merchant does not stay in place, though. With only a limited time, fans may want to check out what exotic items Xur is carrying before the Weekly Reset takes place.
Where is Xur?
Xur is currently located in the planetoid Nessus. To find Xur, “Destiny 2” players can fast travel to the Watcher’s Grave landing zone. From there, they can run straight toward the north end of the area until they find the giant pink tree on the right side.
“Destiny 2” players will have to climb up the tree, and they will find Xur standing on one of its big branches. Approaching Xur will then bring up the Exotic Gears and Exotic Ciphers he is selling. As mentioned, Xur’s weekly appearance is for a limited time only. Fans who have yet to pay the merchant visit can do so until Tuesday, July 13, at 5 p.m. UTC / 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.
Xur’s July 9-13 items
Purchasing items from Xur will require Legendary Shards as payments, so this is a good weekly activity for “Destiny 2” fans who have a good stash of the in-game currency. One of the staple items Xur sells is the Exotic Engram that could provide players with random Exotic armor for only 97 Legendary Shards.
Xur is also selling the Fighting Lion grenade launcher for 29 Legendary Shards. The “Destiny 2” weapon comes with a magazine and can fire 90 rounds per minute. It features the Delayed Gratification ability that launches a grenade with a delayed detonation. Since weapons in the game are not class-restricted, anyone with enough shards will be able to purchase it.
For “Destiny 2” players in the Hunter Class, Xur is offering The Sixth Coyote chest armor with the Double Dodge feature lets its users gain a second dodge charge. The Titan Armamentarium chest armor comes with the And Another Thing ability that gives users an additional grenade charge. Xur is also selling the Wings of Sacred Dawn chest armor, which requires the Warlock Class, and anyone who uses it will gain the Tome of Dawn boost. Each chest armor costs 23 Legendary Shards.
