There are a lot of details about “Deadpool 3” that fans might want to keep up with, among them is the fact that it isn’t the only film to feature the “merc with the mouth” in the future. There will also be the ensemble flick called “X-Force” and both films will be Rated-R. The latter will come out first, it would seem, which should set the third “Deadpool” film’s story.
As OtakuKart reports, actor Ryan Reynolds himself who plays Deadpool had long confirmed that “Deadpool 3” was happening. What’s more, it will retain its R rating despite the fact that it will be acquired by Disney in the end. This lifts a significant weight off of fans who might have feared a PG-13 nightmare of a movie when it comes out.
In any case, the stories “X-Force” film is expected to come out before “Deadpool 3,” but details about the film appear to have become scarce. There are fewer and fewer discussions about it compared to “Deadpool 3,” suggesting more interest in the main film than the ensemble flick.
As to what the story of “Deadpool 3” would even be about, this remains a mystery, even now. Ryan Reynolds did say that they would be going in a different direction with the movie, this time. This could mean that the film will have a more epic scope than the more personalized themes of the first two movies.
It could be entirely possible for “Deadpool 3” to feature Old Man Cable from Rob Liefeld’s Major X series that was recently announced. He was certainly impressed with a fan rendition of the character using Josh Brolin as the aged Cable. The results are impressive.
In any case, if production for “Deadpool 3” starts any time this year, fans can expect the movie to come out sometime in 2021. The “X-Force” movie will likely come out a few months before the main film, though.
