Celebrating DTN and Farmobile’s two years of partnership, farmers can stop by DTN’s lot #302 during Husker Harvest Days to learn more and participate in the guarantee. The promotion provides them with a DTN-compatible passive uplink connection (PUC) device and a subscription to Farmobile’s real-time data collection services with a guaranteed ROI.
“DTN and Farmobile are on a mission to provide farmers with affordable, innovative solutions that deliver real-time results and ROI to farmers,” said Jason Tatge, Farmobile CEO and co-founder. “Using this technology, farmers can easily collect and store their valuable field data to better manage their operations and increase yields and profits.”
Through the DTN-compatible PUC and Farmobile platform users are able to:
- Capture second-by-second agronomic and machine data
- View data as easy-to-read field-centric reports called Electronic Field Records
- Enable quick access to yield maps, real-time data, remote monitoring and year-over-year yield reports
- Easily share standardized, portable data exports with trusted advisors
- Create a low-cost, mixed fleet-friendly, digital strategy
- Gain access to the Farmobile Data Store, which empowers farmers to accept or decline opportunities to sell their data
“At DTN, we are committed to providing actionable insights to farmers with the most reliable information and innovative solutions,” said Kip Pendleton, president of Agriculture. “The partnership with Farmobile delivers on that commitment, providing farmers with the tools they need to make smart business decisions.”
The 2017 Harvest Guarantee and Farmobile data service promotion is a natural extension of Farmobile and DTN/The Progressive Farmer’s partnership. DTN and Farmobile partnered together in 2015 to roll out the DTN PUC which is currently being used to track equipment data to farms across the country.
