Even though a lot of people are eagerly waiting for the time when “Cyberpunk 2077” is finally released, there is still so much about the game that is not known by the public. It would seem that CD Projekt Red is finally comfortable enough to share some more details, though, with recent teases and confirmations. For example, it would appear that there will be a female companion in the game. Even better is the absence of microtransactions or trend-chasing Battle Royale mode.
As Comic Book reports, developers of “Cyberpunk 2077” recently teased that the game will not be a sausage fest thanks to the blessed addition of a female companion. This tidbit was thrown into the hungry maws of fans via Tweet, as seen below. Basically, there will be multiple companions available in the game, which can only be good news for players.
“Jackie is one of companions that will just tag along during some missions. And he is just one of the few. To answer your question- there won't be female version of Jackie, but for sure there will be female companions that will show up during your playthrough,” the Tweet reads.

Naturally, no further details with regards to this female companion have been revealed, but this is fine. It’s enough to know that Jackie won’t be the only available side-kick in this game and some secrecy does add spice to the wait. In addition to this detail, though, it was also confirmed that there will be no microtransactions in “Cyberpunk 2077.”
This makes sense since it is a single-player game. Then again, this hasn’t stopped other developers from trying to squeeze more cash from customers with a non-multiplayer title. Speaking of which, “Cyberpunk 2077” will also not have a Battle Royale mode, which is bittersweet news.
On one hand, the game’s shooting mechanics would be perfect for the trend. Then again, “Cyberpunk 2077” would end up being branded as a sellout if it decided to add the mode.
