“Criminal Minds” season 15 episode 12 is set to be the second story after the series returns on Jan. 2, 2019 with “Night Lights.” The show took a holiday break so the “Flesh and Blood” episode that aired on Dec. 12 was the midseason finale and last chapter in the first half of the police procedural crime drama.
“Criminal Minds” season 15 episode 12 is titled “Hamelin” and based on the press release published by CBS, its plot summary reads: “Prentiss and The BAU team fly to Iowa to investigate the disappearance of three 10-year-old children who appear to have been abducted from their homes in the middle of the night, with surveillance video from a neighborhood park as their only lead to finding the children's whereabouts.”
As stated, Emily Prentiss and the BAU team will solve a case involving the kidnapping of three children. They suspect that the crime has been committed on the same night and they are now working fast to locate the kids and get them back to safety.
There will be a few guest cast for “Criminal Minds” season 15 episode 12 and they are Sweet Clark (Sandy Jareau), Sean Donnellan (Wayne Hollis), Liam Ramos (Joey Prior), Lincoln Lambert (Aiden Lyson), Alexis C. Sitek (Olivia Woolsey), Lisa Roumain (Marsha Pryor), Christina Cox (Agent Brenda Channing), Greg Cromer (Mayor Rob Tremaine), Maya Sayre (Joan Tremaine) and Cooper Stutler (Timmy Tremaine). Simon Mirren directed this episode while Bruce Zimmerman served as its writer.
Meanwhile, fans would be sad to know that the series is almost near its end as “Criminal Minds” season 14 only has 15 episodes in all. This means that after this episode airs, just three more episodes left before it goes off the air again. Then again, there is a possibility that the show can be extended for a few more chapters.
Harry Bring, the series’ executive producer, confirmed the number of episodes back in June when a fan asked if there will be 13 or 14 episodes in the 14th installment. The EP simply replied via Twitter, “15 with the possibility of more.”
“Criminal Minds” season 15 episode 12 has been scheduled to air on Jan. 9, 2019 at 10 p.m. on CBS Network.
