This season's mid-ender brought us shocking revelations and features as the team tries to solve the case about a serial killer who goes on about finding a cure in order for people to not die of old age. This was caused by a traumatic experience he had when he visited a nursing home and witnessed a death of a resident there. Moving on, he had experimented various live humans as his specimen in his search for the fountain of youth, which brought the team in the scene and stopped him as he was about to perform a heart transplant surgery to his human guinea pig.
Meanwhile, the return of the most awaited TV series is set on Dr. Reid's (Matthew Gubler) quest for his one true love. The team will welcome the 'Parks and Recreation' actress Aubrey Plaza as their guest star, who will play the woman of Dr. Reid's dreams, Cat Adams. But there is a twist to that, as always. Cat Adams is not the typical girl you thought she would be and she is hiding something. A romantic date between the two will happen until a dramatic turn of events led to Adams threatening to kill Reid and everyone in the restaurant unless he pass a series of tests. His crime solving skills and critical thinking mind will be put into pressure as he tries to answer and solve the game Adams' is playing on him.
