GARNER, N.C., Feb. 12, 2018 -- CloudJumper, the leading Workspace as a Service (WaaS) platform provider for agile business IT, today announced that chief sales officer, Max Pruger, has been featured in the 2018 CRN Channel Chief Awards. CRN’s annual list of Channel Chiefs highlights the top executives in the industry who run IT channel operations at market leading technology vendors. CRN’s definitive guide of channel management movers and shakers recognizes the channel executives who consistently defend, promote, and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies.
CRN editors select those named on the Channel Chief list on the basis of their accomplishments in the channel, track record, industry standing, dedication to the partner community, and strategies to drive future channel growth as well as business innovation. Each 2018 Channel Chief has been recognized for outstanding commitment to both current and prospective channel partners.
"The executives chosen for this year’s Channel Chiefs list are true standouts in our industry,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “These innovators of the IT channel were selected because of their ability to build strong partner programs, develop and execute effective business strategy, and increase revenue growth in their organizations via their channel networks—actions that serve to advance the channel as a whole.”
Among the honorees on the CRN Channel Chief list – Max Pruger was selected in 2018 for his pivotal role in the continued expansion of CloudJumper's channel ecosystem, which grew 100% in 2017, allowing MSPs, ISVs, and agents to migrate the office environments of their SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customers to the cloud. Throughout 2017, CloudJumper saw its channel partner count nearly double, which drove last year’s sales to new highs. One notable outcome of this expansion was that sales of the company’s Workspace as a Service (WaaS) platform increased over the previous year by more than 200%. CloudJumper WaaS solution gained widespread adoption in the IT channel as a growing number of partners have realized the value of IT in the cloud. As a result, this drove customer seat count by 126% in 2017.
Mr. Pruger also played a significant role in CloudJumper’s business unit acquisition of more than 50 MSPs and ISVs, as well as the signing of several premier channel partners, including US Signal, MainFrameIT, Pax8, and Impact Networking, among others. His efforts were also key in moving the organization forward by introducing channel partners to several new technology platforms, including the launch of the company’s JumpStart solution for fast ground-to-cloud customer onboarding, and its Customer Management Module to improve WaaS management simplicity and increase profitability for partners. Furthermore, Pruger orchestrated several competitive pricing programs to speed partner and customer transition to the CloudJumper platform.
“Businesses are now looking to the cloud more than ever to optimize their operations, and with CloudJumper WaaS solution, we can offer our partners an opportunity to capture more of this growing market with automated technology that brings powerful onboarding, account management, and a complete workspace experience — minus the cost and complexity of competitive solutions,” said Max Pruger, chief sales officer, CloudJumper. “By pairing our technologies and platforms with comprehensive support and a well-structured channel program, we’re able to boost partner efforts in bringing these needed solutions to their customers. We’re very excited that CRN has recognized our company’s extensive efforts in this arena and are grateful for the honor.”
