There are a lot of signs that “Chicago PD” Season 6 is going to be an amazing season and among them are the awesome guest actors who are coming to the show. The versatile David Zayas from “Dexter” and “Blue Bloods” is set to make an appearance, for example. Another reason is the super exciting three-way crossover event that will involve all three “Chicago” programs.
In a new Tweet, the official account for the show announced that David Zayas will be appearing on “Chicago PD” Season 6. The post contains a photo of the actor and though his role has yet to be revealed, it’s difficult to argue with what the caption is claiming.
“Welcome to the #ChicagoPD team, @DavidZayas62. Season 6 is looking good!” the tweet reads.

Fans of the actor will already be familiar with the versatility of his performances, allowing him to become both a lovable fan-favorite and a terrifying villain. It’s still unclear which one he is going to be in “Chicago PD” Season 6, but he is bound to give an awesome performance. This makes the upcoming season even more worth looking forward to.
Speaking of which, the “One Chicago” event will be happening in October, which is sooner than a lot of people thought. This was recently announced via “Chicago Fire’s” Twitter account, noting that the crossover will occur in the show’s second episode. It will be the same for “Chicago PD” Season 6 since all three shows will be premiering on the same day.
“BREAKING NEWS: our second episode of the season is going to be a three way crossover with Chicago Fire leading the way,” the Tweet reads.

This is a fairly exciting development, mostly because it gives fans of “Chicago PD,” “Chicago Fire,” and “Chicago Med” a chance to see all of these characters interact with each other. When “Chicago PD” Season 6 premieres on Sept. 26, it’s likely to be a glorious day for viewers.
