‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Season 4, Episode 9 Spoilers: "The Overmining" – Captain C.J. Struggles with Tough Case; Terry Imposes Green Initiative in Workplace

‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ season 4’s episode 9, entitled "The Overmining," will find Captain C.J. struggling with a tough case while Jake and Holt will do their best to assist him. Meanwhile, Terry will impose a green initiate in the workplace but is bound to clash with Gina over a space heater.

The synopsis for “The Overmining” posted on TV.com reads, “Jake (Andy Samberg) and Holt (Andre Braugher) help Captain C.J. with a tough case.

Meanwhile, Terry's (Terry Crews) eco-friendly initiative causes a feud when he demands that Gina (Chelsea Peretti) ditch her space heater; and Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) and Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio) visit a foot-massage parlor while taking a break during the night shift.”

According to Citizen Oracle, Captain C.J. is set to struggle with a tough case in the incoming episode but Jake and Holt will be there to assist him. Things won’t be all too demanding for Rosa and Boyle as they bond over a visit to a foot-massage parlor.

Meanwhile, Terry will impose a green initiative in the workplace. Unfortunately, he will clash with Gina when he orders her to give up her space heater. It would be interesting to see how Gina will ultimately get her way.

 ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ season 4’s episode 9, entitled "The Overmining," is scheduled to air on Fox on December 6, 2016. It will be followed by episode 10, entitled "Captain Latvia," scheduled for December 13.

Since the police sitcom’s premiere on Fox on September 2013, it garnered several accolades including two Golden Globe Awards and two Creative Arts Emmy Awards. It also gained Andre Braugher three consecutive Primetime Emmy Awards nominations for his performance as Captain Raymond Jacob "Ray" Holt. The series was created by Dan Goor and Michael Schur.

The series is set in the fictional 99th Precinct of the New York Police Department in Brooklyn and follows the antics of a team of detectives headed by Captain Holt.
