Brad Pitt is said to be so desperate to cast Jodie Comer in his upcoming movie “Bullet Train,” but he was allegedly rejected by the actress. It was reported that the “Killing Eve” star is Angelina Jolie’s ex’s dream co-star, but it seems he doesn’t have a chance to work with her after she turned down the offer.
Brad’s disappointment
In an article published in the latest edition of the National Enquirer, it was claimed in a story titled “Brad’s Bummed” that Brad Pitt is really upset after being turned down by Jodie Comer.
The 56-year-old A-list actor is said to be feeling so bad after the English actress did not accept the offer given to her.
It was added that although Jodie was flattered, she can’t say “yes” because she believes it was not for her. As said in the report, she refused the role as she thinks it doesn’t fit in the career path she chose.
“Jodie was flattered Brad wanted her so badly for the part, but she didn’t think it was right for her,” the insider reportedly revealed to the tabloid. “She prefers making another high-brow TV series or small film in the U.K., especially if it’s material she really believes in.”
The 27-year-old actress did not even consider joining the cast after she received the offer. Even if it is a Brad Pitt movie and she is sure to gain big money from the project, she simply refused as she is staying away from blockbuster films.
The truth about Brad wanting Jodie
Gossip Cop straight out stated that National Enquirer is not a reliable source. It already released a number of false news about Brad Pitt, and it determined that this story about Jodie Comer is also not true.
The gossip police site noted that the article is just one of those “bait and switch” articles. In fact, the tabloid made it sound like Brad Pitt was “rejected” when it is not the case.
They used the wrong term, so readers will assume the actor tried his hardest to be connected to his “dream” co-star but it did not work out so he was very upset. In truth, Brad Pitt is a professional actor and although he could suggest a name, he knows it is still up to the production team if that is feasible and would be happy with anyone he is paired with.
