NEW YORK, NY, Feb. 05, 2018 -- Boustead Securities, LLC (“Boustead Securities”) and its affiliate, FinTech Clearing, LLC, are pleased to announce the hiring of Robert Maley as Senior Managing Director – Investment Banking, as well as the planned opening of the firm’s New York Office. Mr. Maley has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, as an investment banking executive, broker-dealer, and registered investment advisor.
Mr. Maley comes to Boustead Securities after serving as president and head of investment banking for a regional broker/dealer and RIA. Mr. Maley also brings senior level experience in financial services and risk management, including as a Director Investment Banking Advisory for Compliance-Risk Concepts, and previously as the President and CEO of Gilford Securities, as well as the President and CFO of Gilford Financial Corporation.
“We are looking forward to working with Robert to build the New York and East Coast presence of Boustead Securities,” said Boustead Securities CEO Keith Moore. “Robert’s experience covers a broad spectrum of investment banking services, from developing clients, conducting offerings, to compliance, and leadership. We are fortunate to have Robert, with his experience, industry relationships and skills, lead our expansion into New York.”
Through his prior work with Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), secondary transactions, and private placements, Mr. Maley has originated, executed, and closed more than 100 lead transactions, raised more than $2.8 billion for client companies, has participated in over 600 offerings as co-manager or underwriter, as well as raising more than $1.6 billion of private equity investment in an Asian real estate fund.
“I believe Boustead Securities’ Capital Markets solutions are helping to bring back small-cap initial public offerings (i.e., IPOs). Those efforts, along with the firm’s approach to raising capital, were the key reasons why I chose to join Boustead,” said Mr. Maley.
