Boruto, Sarada and Shikadai are going to have their hands full as they take on a Jounin-level shinobi in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 79. As seen in the episode preview, the trio will have to fight Kokuyou as they continue to search for Mitsuki. The mysterious ninja from the Hidden Rock Village has already taken out several Hidden Leaf Village shinobi in the previous episode, but Boruto, Sarada and Shikadai will not let that intimidate them.
Some may argue that Boruto is strong enough to defeat Kokuyou, especially when Shikadai is there to come up with a plan, but viewers will have to remember that they are Genins who don’t have much experience in actual combat. Fortunately, they may not have to fight him for long.
According to OtakuKart, the trio is going to get some help from a Jounin from Konoha in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 79. But at the moment, the identity of this Jounin is a mystery.
“We really don’t know who this is, but I really hope that it is someone like Mirai, or maybe even Konohamaru. The only thing that puts a little doubt in my head is the fact that Hidden Rock will literally capture the shinobi that Konoha have sent, and I don’t think that Konoha will send someone like Konohamaru on this mission. This is very strange but other than them; I don’t know who the person who will help them out will be,” Wamiq Fida said in his article for OtakuKart.
Well, Moegi is a possibility as well since she is unlikely to head back to Konoha without Shikadai, Chocho, and Inojin. While the Jounin fights Kokuyou, Boruto, Sarada and Shikadai should be able to slip away and go after Mitsuki. “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” Episode 79 is scheduled to air on Oct. 28, so don’t miss it.
