“Boruto” Episode 82 will involve Boruto and Co. infiltrating the Hidden Stone village, which would normally be considered an act of war if the two factions were not in good terms. However, even as the episodes move closer to the end of the Mitsuki arc, many are complaining that the whole thing is dragging on for too long. It might even make Onoki’s potential death less impactful, as a result.
As OtakuKart points out, the previous episode was unjustifiable in how pointless it was. There was no need to include some of the scenes in it and the whole thing felt unnaturally drawn out. One can only hope that “Boruto” Episode 82 will not end up the same way. However, with the way this whole Mitsuki arc is going, it likely will.
The only thing that could give fans hope for “Boruto” Episode 82 is the fact that it will see the young ninjas finally entering the Hidden Stone village. When they get inside, the team will make contact with the former leader of the village, Onoki.
Fans of the sequel to this series will likely already know who this elderly ninja is. As one of the most powerful characters in the “Naruto” universe, he would certainly be a wonderful ally to have. Unfortunately, he is already sick in “Boruto” Episode 82. As such, asking him to fight would be a risky thing to do since it could result in his death, which would then cause diplomatic issues.
Then again, he might not have to since Konohamaru will also be coming to his juniors’ aid in “Boruto” Episode 82, TheAnimeScrolls reports. As to what awaits the Hidden Leaf ninjas when they finally enter the Hidden Stone village, fans will have to wait until Nov. 18 to find out. Will this journey lead to tragedy?
