Boruto’s attempt at bringing back Mitsuki to the Hidden Leaf village continues in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 81. Before that happens, he might finally have a serious conversation with Garaga about betrayal while Inojin and Chocho encounter an Akuta.
The preview for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 81 shows that the titular protagonist is still unconscious for the most part of the installment. But while he is injured, the brief video teaser reveals he will be having a conversation with Garaga in what looks like the spiritual world.
A leaked summary of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 81 mentions Boruto will have a dream while still suffering from his injury. This is most likely referring to the scene where he is talking with Garaga, who, so far, has been very defiant despite their summoning contract.
Boruto is yet to fully understand why Mitsuki attacked him. And Garaga is too familiar with that feeling after his former summoner turned his back on him and cost him one of his eyes. Whatever Boruto and Garaga come up with from this conversation in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 81, it might result in a better relationship moving forward with their summoning contract.
The same leaked synopsis also reveals that Inojin and Chocho will scan the perimeter to check if there are nearby threats. Unfortunately, they will encounter an Akuta — possibly several of them — which means another wave of battle awaits. As Inojin and Chocho depart, Shikadai and Sarada will decide whether or not they should just return to Hidden Leaf in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 81 even without Mitsuki.
Viewers saw more of Lord Ku in episode 80. With an army of Akuta, he attacked Kurotsuchi. The Tsuchikage was obviously shocked to see the face of Ku, distracting her and leading to her capture. This particular scene led some fans to believe that Ku might actually be Onoki’s grandson and “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 81, airing on Nov. 11, could either confirm or dismiss this theory.
