For those who only know of Naruto in the Boruto series, the current Hokage’s power might not be as clear compared to those who have read or watched everything up to the last ninja war. These readers will then note how Naruto has been considerably nerfed in his encounter with Delta. To start with, the character is capable of moving at the speed of light. His fight with Delta should not have reached “Boruto” Chapter 33.
As Blasting News reports, Delta’s eye beam power is terrifying because it basically prevents regeneration on the part of the target. This is why Kawaki’s decision to sacrifice his arm in order to save Naruto in the previous chapter was quite a terrifying experience in concept. Only time will tell if his injuries are deemed impossible to heal. “Boruto” Chapter 33 might provide more details on this matter.
Having pointed that out, many fans are outraged at the fact that it had to happen, in the first place. Based on official canon information, Naruto should have been more than fast enough to defeat Delta long before “Boruto” Chapter 33. In fact, he would not have necessarily needed his explosive attacks to lay her out.
For context, Naruto is basically capable of moving faster than the eye can see if he gets serious. With his daughter’s life on the line, the Hokage should have been able to save her and take out Delta in no time. Yet he had to put his own body in harm’s way and get Kawaki involved. “Boruto” Chapter 33 will likely continue this battle that is becoming nonsensical, as well.
Basically, many fans are becoming outraged at how inconsistent the manga is being. Delta VS Naruto should have been one chapter long and “Boruto” Chapter 33 should have been about something else entirely. Yet when March 26 rolls around, the female Kara member will still pose a major threat. This isn’t the manga pushing some kind of SJW-Feminist empowerment nonsense, is it?
