There is so much going on around the hit TV series 'Blue Bloods' which all the fans are enjoying at. In this week's episode, Jamie's patience was tested and Anthony's dedication and professionalism was tested as well. So here is a recap of this week's episode titled "Friends in Need".
On tonight’s episode as per the CBS synopsis, “Jaime and Danny clash over how to deal with a brash rookie cop who is the son of Danny’s pal. Meanwhile, Anthony gets tangled in a bad investment thanks to his cousin, so Erin volunteers to do some digging into the situation.”
The episode circled around Jamie performing a favor for Danny. For Danny it seems had been saved over in Iraq back when he was serving in the army by a man that he still feels indebted to. Only Corporal Jimmy Beal died several years ago so Danny then decided to look after Jimmy’s son as a way to repay the man.
The young man, Marcus, had recently graduated the academy and had also been placed in the same precinct as Jamie. Little did Danny and Jaime know is that Marcus can be a pain in the ass and would get into a lot of trouble, putting a test to Jaime's patience.
The rookie as it turns out tended to walk around the precinct as if he knew everything already and that he didn’t need anyone to tell him what to do. He ignores protocol and disobeys commands from senior officers. But an incident in one of their case led to him being almost killed which made him shellshocked and pass his resignation letter.
Meanwhile, Anthony has got some problems of his own. Erin was pushed into taking on case that put her at odds with Anthony. Anthony it seems had a cousin that had promised several NYPD officers that he could turn around their investments into profit. Yet the truth was Anthony’s cousin was a crook that has been scamming people for years.
Anthony has got nothing to do but to help Erin on this case and capture his own cousin who was about to escape and leave the country. Forutnately for them, they were able to trap him.
