Fans want “Blue Bloods” season 10 but is it coming? The ninth season is still airing but it is approaching the finale yet there is no news about the show’s renewal yet. The lack of update is making the fans because the silence of CBS Network could also mean it has no plans of renewing the series anymore.
Then again, it is too early to be worried about “Blue Bloods” season 10 because, in truth, there is still a lot of time for CBS to decide whether to order more episodes or cancel the show for some reasons. While the showrunners of the series are not saying anything as well, fans can pick up some clues if there will be the tenth installment or not.
For instance, “Blue Bloods” maintained viewership ratings and this is an important factor in renewals. This is to say that the show has big chances of producing “Blue Bloods” season 10.
Also, “Blue Bloods” season 10 is likely to happen because it seems the ninth season is will end with many storylines not having proper conclusions thus there is a need to continue to tie up the loose ends and give the show its deserved proper finale that will not leave the viewers asking, “That’s the end? What happened?”
Lastly, Tom Selleck (Frank Reagan) gave an update with regards to “Blue Bloods” season 10’s renewal. Via an interview with CBS 58, he said that the cast of the show has yet to sign a new contract to continue. The actor explained that this should not worry the fans because the actors can eventually renew their contracts later.
“Typically, most cast members sign contracts for six or seven years upon joining a show, and then after that, they tend to negotiate on an annual or semi-annual basis, Selleck said. “A lot of it depends on each actor’s desire to continue the show, the monetary value of the contract, studio demands, or other factors.”
Tom Selleck ended his interview by stating he firmly believes that CBS will give a go signal for them to do “Blue Bloods” season 10. Understandably, no filming or release date is available at this time.
