Blake Shelton allegedly wants to make an album with his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, but he had to push her a bit since she does not like the idea. It was said that Miranda Lambert’s ex thinks that their collaborative album would be a big hit and they can be one of those powerful couples in the music industry.
According to Hollywood Life, Blake Shelton has been dreaming of turning himself and Gwen into the modern-day version of Johnny and June Cash, thus he came up with the idea. However, the “Hollaback Girl” singer is reportedly not on board as she does not think it is a good idea at all.
“Gwen is a little more realistic though, and she wonders how they could meld their very different music styles together because she wants to always remain authentic,” the so-called source told HL.
The source added, “Blake is very much of the belief set though that where there’s a will there’s a way so, he constantly brings it up and it’s definitely a discussion point, so never rule it out, although he takes a lot more seriously than Gwen.”
Now, Gossip Cop stepped in and checked if this report is true. The first thing that it did was to reach out to Gwen Stefani’s representative for confirmation. And as it suspected, it turned out that the story is false.
It added that the source is problematic in the first place because it seems to be nonexistent. Moreover, this Gossip Cop stated that this is not the first time that it busted Hollywood Life for its stories involving Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton so it can confidently say that it also lied when it claimed that the latter is pushing his girlfriend for a collaboration.
In fact, as a proof, just last month, GC refuted a report that claimed Gwen and Blake were starring on a reality show. The couple has not signed any contract to do any show together and this report on a joint album project is just one of those fabricated stories.
