“Black Clover” episode 87 will wrap up the official formation of the Royal Knights. Most fans are likely hoping that all known Black Bulls who joined the selection exam will be chosen. Unfortunately, that will not be the case.
On the bright side, most of the Black Bulls who participated in the competitions will pass. Episode 86 ended with the entrance of Mereoleona. That means the early part of “Black Clover” episode 87 would include a scene where she introduces herself as the leader of the Royal Knights.
She will be pulling Asta, Noelle, and Luck to one side of the room to let them know they have passed the selection exam. On the other hand, Magna will gather that he failed and will not be part of the elite force. However, this is not the biggest surprise in “Black Clover” episode 87.
In Mereoleona’s conversation with the three Black Bulls, she will add that one more member of their squad is selected as a new Royal Knight. This will cause confusion at first with Magna thinking that the leader was referring to him. However, she immediately clarifies that she is talking about someone else who will not be in the same room, yet at this point.
The next scenes will likely include Mereoleona’s speech about the basics of joining the Royal Knights, such as trusting her with their lives since she is their captain. This is Zora’s cue to enter in “Black Clover” episode 87 and also causing a little commotion. It will be revealed that Yami had offered him a place in the Black Bulls prior to the Royal Knights assembly.
“Black Clover” episode 87, to be released on Tuesday, June 11, will feature the last events of the Royal Knights Selection arc. That means the anime series will soon catch up with the current arc in the manga. This also means that more exciting events are coming as the Royal Knights prepare to invade the Eye of Midnight Sun’s lair.
