“Black Clover” episode 81 will mainly feature the match between Team B and Team G that are led by Langris and Asta, respectively. However, as the competition heats up, Zora Ideale enters the fight and the episode is expected to reveal more about this character.
The upcoming episode is titled “The Life of a Certain Man” that corresponds to a manga chapter with the same title where parts of Zora’s past was revealed. Zora is one of the characters that has just been introduced in the anime series. However, “Black Clover” episode 81 will show that Asta already trusts him enough. In fact, in the most crucial part of their fight against Langris, Asta will call on Zora for help.
Fans who have been following the anime series may have already noticed that Zora is not exactly a people person. He does not seem friendly to anyone he meets even to his teammates. “Black Clover” episode 81 will explain that this trait is connected to his love for his dead father, Zara, and what Zora learned after he passed away.
A sequence of flashbacks to Zora’s childhood and moments with his father will likely show up in “Black Clover” episode 81. This will explain that Zora saw his father as his hero and looked up on him for being a noble Magic Knight. He will, however, become disillusioned upon learning that Zara was killed by his squadmates in Purple Orca.
Knowing Asta’s character it is interesting to see in “Black Clover” episode 81 how the main protagonist would slowly teach Zora to learn trusting other Magic Knights again. Meanwhile, it is also possible that the same episode will include how Team B vs. Team G match will end.
Fans will not be disappointed with the amount of action that awaits in “Black Clover” episode 81 between Asta’s and Langris’ teams. However, the result might be underwhelming as it is expected to be declared a tie. “Black Clover” episode 81 will air on Tuesday, April 30.
