Bitwala, Europe's bill payment service that facilitates paying bills with bitcoin, has announced that it has launched bitcoin wallet that allows Bitwala users to set up their wallet right from their user account.
According to the official release, the Bitwala wallet uses seamless website integration and allows users to pay and send bitcoins from within the Bitwala site. The wallet facilitates users to make payments in a hassle free manner, receive funds and manage their financials.
“I see the Bitwala wallet as one of the most important pillars of our success. Usability is vital when handling expenses with bitcoins and with our wallet, we are a step closer to bringing bitcoin into the mainstream. Spending, holding and sending bitcoins and fiat has never been easier,” Jörg von Minckwitz, CEO of Bitwala said.
With the new feature, users can easily issue international bank transfers and top up their debit card. Users can view their ATM transactions, debit card transactions and amount of existing bitcoins in the dashboard. Thus the wallet will give a complete bitcoin banking experience to its users.
“As with all our products and services, we apply high-security standards and compliance for our customers. The Bitwala wallet currently supports Bitcoin exclusively, with plans to include Ether, DASH and more cryptocurrencies on the list,” the release stated.
The launch of Bitwala wallet will allow users to have complete control over their money. Users are required to set up a unique wallet password that is different from their account password. With this feature, no one can freeze or take the funds from other wallets as the owners will be solely responsible for the safety of their own wallet.
In order to create a Bitwala wallet, new users need to create an account in Bitwala, click on ‘create a bitcoin wallet’ in the dashboard after creating the account and set up a bitcoin wallet by choosing a unique password. Users have to make sure to save their backup data as Bitwala does not provide with it if the wallet access is lost.
Last week, Bitwala introduced its new feature – Bitwala messenger that enables to interact and send money to each other. Bitwala messenger is swift, convenient and hassle-free and sends money a whole lot faster and easier.
