Bitcoin book receives ‘Outstanding Business Reference Source' award

Elsevier, the modern publishing company has announced that its bitcoin book titled ‘Handbook of Digital Currency: Bitcoin, Innovation, Financial Instruments, and Big Data’ has received ‘Outstanding’ Business Reference Source award by the section of the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA), a division of the American Library Association.

According to the official release, David Lee Kuo Chuen is the editor of the book. Chuen is the professor of Quantitative Finance (Practice); Director, Sim Kee Boon Institute for Financial Economics. He also holds the position of Academic Director, Global Master of Finance Dual Degree at Singapore Management University. He received his Ph.D. from The London School of Economics and Political Science.

The ‘Handbook of Digital Currency’ discusses the major strategies associated with cryptocurrencies, their uses, and regulations. Its comprehensive view of the field includes history, technicality, IT, finance, economics, legal, tax among others. The book has already received positive reviews from readers.

Every year best business reference sources is selected by the Business Reference Sources Committee of Business Reference and Services Section (BRASS). This year, 20 entries were reviewed and two were awarded ‘outstanding’. Apart from this, seven were selected as "Notable" and one was designated as a ‘Significant New Edition.’
