OKCoin Mobile App Updates (Source: OKCoin)

OKCoin, a global digital asset trading platform, have announced recent upgrades made to its iOS and Android trading apps. These include:

  • Today’s Notification Widget: This will simplify checking the price of BTC on mobile. OKCoin said that in our next edition, it will allow users to customize the exchanges they follow.

  • Scan QR from Mobile to Log into Web Platform: With the Scan feature on iOS and Android, users will be able to enjoy the safety of 2FA (two factor authorization) without Google Authenticator.

  • Multi-account Access: This will allow users to be logged into multiple accounts at once to toggle between different strategies. OKCoin said that this was often requested feature by its institutional accounts.

OKCoin has been consistently rolling out new features and upgrades to its mobile apps to enhance user experience. In February, it introduced the ability to sign up for a trading account right within the app; the option to withdraw BTC/LTC within the app to a verified address; the ability to verify and reset login details in case the password is lost and touch-id. Also, it added margin trading to its iOS and Android apps last month.

In addition, it recently released OCO (One Cancels Other) orders for its exchange to allow traders to have a more dynamic way to express a trading view.

Founded in 2013, OKCoin is one of the leading bitcoin companies headquartered in Beijing, China. It has raised US$10mm in investments from Ceyuan Ventures, Mantra Capital, VenturesLab and other notable private investors including Silicon Valley investor Tim Draper.
