Fans were overjoyed when it was announced that “Better Call Saul” Season 5 was coming. With the show’s fourth season receiving critical acclaim and a ton of positive feedback, there was no way that it wouldn’t. As for what fans can expect from the upcoming season, they will basically be saying goodbye to Jimmy McGill and welcome Saul Goodman, both of whom are played by Bob Odenkirk.
As Devdiscourse recently reported, “Better Call Saul” Season 5 is where Jimmy will complete his transformation into Saul. From there, it will be unconscionable actions and decisions without scruples going forward. He will be the person that viewers met when the character was introduced the first time in “Breaking Bad.”
With regards to what this will mean for the character and his course going forward, it’s likely that the events following Walter White’s (Bryan Cranston) disastrous actions will be featured. Nothing has been confirmed with regards to this point, but “Better Call Saul” Season 5 will be much more interesting if this happened.
As for when fans can expect to watch the premiere of “Better Call Saul” Season 5, there have been a lot of speculations brought forward. Production is set to start this April, so barring any kind of obstacle from finishing the filming in a smooth manner, the show should be good to go by the end of 2019. Unfortunately, with the way, these kinds of events are handled and the matter of scheduling, a premiere this year is unlikely.
This then means that “Better Call Saul” Season 5 could premiere in 2020. This might disappoint a lot of fans who were hoping to see Jimmy’s transformation this year. There is always a chance that it might come out during the holidays as a gift to the viewers, though. So fans shouldn’t lose hope unless an official announcement is made.
