Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner 2018: Actor’s Close Friends Reportedly Advise Him to Stop Seeing Shauna Sexton

Many of the recent reports about the estranged couple Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck include a third name: Shauna Sexton. Affleck and Sexton have sparked dating rumors and, now, his close friends are reportedly not fond of their relationship while he is in rehab.

Garner and Affleck have not been seen together since the day the actor entered rehab in August. On the other hand, Sexton reportedly meets with the actor whenever he visits his Pacific Palisades home. She was also spotted exiting Affleck’s rehab facility, hinting that she paid him a visit.

Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight’s source reported that some of Affleck’s close friends have been advising him to temporarily stop seeing Sexton while he is in rehab. "He has been told to hold off on a relationship... but isn’t heeding that advice,” the source said. “His closest friends hoped he was just dating her and would break it off after going to rehab, but he seems to get closer to her every day.”

Ben Affleck entered a 30-day rehab program in a live-in facility following Jennifer Garner’s purported intervention. Affleck is allowed to go out of the facility for a few hours in a week, where he reportedly gets the chance to see Sexton.

The insider also implied that Affleck’s friends think Sexton became a bit of a distraction for the actor. "The more time Ben seems to spend with Shauna, the more he seems to want to go home,” the source added.

On the other hand, the same source clarified that Sexton is also making an effort to help in Affleck’s program as well “by attending his family sessions.” However, the insider claimed that the model “doesn't seem willing to give him the space he needs to stay in rehab.”

Sexton had also taken a hit from fans who are blaming him for Affleck’s third stint in rehab. The model was once forced to respond to an Instagram user where she admitted to being involved in public intoxication controversies. However, she insisted that she never had a drink “around or with him.”

In related news, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reached a divorce settlement about a week after he entered rehab. Reports claim they will be finalizing their divorce once Affleck finishes his rehab program.
