Ben Affleck's recent episode of alcohol abuse may have been a grueling experience for Jennifer Garner's former husband, but it seems that is no longer the hot topic of Hollywood's grapevine. With Affleck finally finished with his in-patient rehabilitation program, the gossip machine has wasted no time in finding another juicy story about the “Justice League” actor and his “Torrance” co-star Janina Gavankar.
A story has been spreading recently about how Ben Affleck seems to be cozying up to his current co-worker Janina Gavankar. According to the rumors, Affleck and Gavankar are getting close to each other on set, with a picture of the two together at work being used as evidence that a relationship is budding.
Gossip Cop debunks the recent rumors by pointing out Ben Affleck is hardly in a position right now to be flirting with Janina Gavankar. Ben Affleck's rehabilitation episode would not have been possible without the support of his close friends and family and would be best served by the actor focusing on the rest of his recovery.
In addition, People has also reported that Ben Affleck even ended his relationship with Shauna Sexton to focus on his recovery, which Gossip Cop points out as a potential roadblock to a Janina Gavankar and Ben Affleck relationship in the present. The report includes the caveat that while Ben Affleck may potentially return to dating in the future, it seems the actor will be focusing on his current projects – which Gossip Cop also points out include “Torrance.”
In addition to the reality that Ben Affleck is not in the best position to be flirting with Janina Gavankar, Gossip Cop also points out that the pictures being used by the gossip channels to build up the Affleck Gavankar relationship actually show the co-stars sitting quite far away from each other. Fans of Affleck – and even Gavankar – should be more careful about the stories they read about the two, considering that a relationship between Gavankar and Affleck seems improbable at the moment.
