It has only been months since Ben Affleck’s divorce from Jennifer Garner was made official by a judge. But reports have it that the former “Batman” actor already wants the “Alias” alum back.
Affleck’s way to do it is by allegedly going through a total makeover that will cost him $200,000, a source of the tabloid National Enquirer claimed (via Gossip Cop). Fans might find this story quite unbelievable but, unfortunately, this kind of story is not new in the gossip media industry.
What is more beyond belief is the reported goal of Affleck’s makeover. The same source said the actor wants to ditch his typical buffed look for a more metrosexual appeal. It is purportedly Garner’s new type in men nowadays and then making a reference to her reported boyfriend Cali Group CEO John Miller.
“Ben’s doing whatever he can to convince her to come home. He’s shaping up and getting his act together in a last-ditch effort to prove to Jen he’s happy, healthy and, most importantly, reliable,” the insider said about Affleck. “Ben’s willing to spend a fortune to show Jen he’s not ready to give up just yet.”
However, as many fans would have guessed, official sources denied the report. A representative of Affleck told the fact-checking news outlet that there is no truth to the Enquirer story and even reportedly calling it “nonsense.”
Affleck and Garner announced they were getting a divorce in 2015 after being married for 10 years. "After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the ex-spouses said in a joint statement. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."
However, the divorce proceedings were only completed in late 2018 as Garner reportedly prioritized helping Affleck battle with his alcohol addiction. Though getting back together is not on the cards, the duo is often being referenced as good examples of harmonious co-parenting. They have three children together namely Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7.
