Ben Affleck 2018: Actor’s Mom Maintains Good Relationship with Ex-Wife, Jennifer Garner; Rumored Girlfriend Visits Him in Rehab

Ben Affleck and his rumored girlfriend, Shauna Sexton, continuously see each other amid his current rehab stint. Meanwhile, his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, is obviously still in a good relationship with his mother.

Affleck and Sexton were seen going out together several times before and after the “Justice League” actor broke up with “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus. But reports suggest that things are getting more serious between the two. The 22-year-old Playboy model reportedly met with Affleck when he was allowed to visit his Pacific Palisades home recently.

Then on Sunday, Sexton was spotted exiting the rehab facility where Affleck is currently staying. This is Affleck’s third time entering rehab, which happened after Garner reportedly staged an intervention at his home last Aug. 22. Days before that, Affleck was photographed receiving a package of alcoholic beverages.

According to a source of Entertainment Tonight, Ben Affleck and Shauna Sexton did maintain communication even after the actor entered rehab last month. “[Affleck’s] friends had huge concerns about it because she isn't sober,” said the insider. “She is a huge, red flag to everyone that is trying to support Ben with his process. Shauna is giving him false confidence and that is their biggest concern." The report mentioned that Jennifer Garner was “painfully frustrated” after learning that Sexton and Affleck met at the latter’s home.

Sexton, on the other hand, recently responded to an Instagram comment on her page, insisting that her rumored boyfriend is an adult who makes his own decisions. “Blaming a [22-year-old] for someone's 3rd time in rehab is just ridiculous,” she added.

Meanwhile, Garner continuously shows she has maintained a good relationship with Affleck and his family amid their ongoing divorce proceedings. PEOPLE confirmed that Affleck’s mom, Chris, is currently staying with Garner and her three kids.

Aside from supporting Ben Affleck in his struggle for sobriety, Jennifer Garner has also been busy promoting her latest movie, “Peppermint,” and preparing her children for the start of another school year. Garner, Affleck’s mom, and the three kids were also seen attending church service on Sunday.
