Donald Trump and Melania Trump’s son recently sparked rumors that he’s gay.

On Twitter, some netizens shared their observations and used it to mock the POTUS. In fact, critics of the president have been hoping for the gay rumors to be true to make Trump’s life miserable.

“Suppose Barron Trump gets disowned because he’s gay…” Twitter user @_D_Artagnan said.

“So… you think Barron Trump is gay? I mean, you just called him a homo…” Twitter user @TheOneTrueKOB said.

“You’re acting like Barron Trump was called a closeted gay with daddy issues,” Twitter user @WBBBPB said.

“I’ve had that happened too and I’m a woman married to a woman. Someone said they hope Barron Trump is gay and I said that would be a good eye-opener for his dad. Apparently, that was a really homophobic idea to some,” Twitter user @WillRunWithUke said.

“I hope Barron Trump ends up being gay or trans,” Twitter user @OBSESSEDBAE said.

“There is a rumor afoot about Barron Trump that he has come out as gay. I don’t know if this is true,” Twitter user @MavisNH said.

Meanwhile, some netizens came to Barron and his dad’s defense.

“Notice they say no kid bashing but they are constantly bashing Barron Trump. The hypocrisy!” Twitter user @Christi31157735 said.

“This is coming from the same party as ‘I hope Barron Trump is gay to make his father’s life miserable,” Twitter user @Starbuildstrik2 said.

Rumors about Barron allegedly being gay and coming out the closet seem to be rife because of Trump’s previous attack on LGBT rights. According to The Guardian, the president and his administration have targeted LGBT rights in healthcare, employment, housing, education, commerce, and more.

Trump previously tried to push a bill that would legalize the firing of people for the very reason that they are gays or transgenders. The POTUS also wants to ban gay individuals from serving in the military.
