Fintech firm Barchart announced their annual event ‘FinTech Exchange 2017’ that focuses on technology within financial markets and trading, to be held on April 27, 2017 in Chicago.
The event will see more than 20 innovative companies in the fintech arena that will take part in a series of presentations and roundtables. The presentations and panels will focus on machine learning, blockchain technology, data analytics and visualization, big data, tick data management, artificial intelligence, trading software, among a variety of topics.
"Over the past few years, financial technology has taken our industry by storm and through our FinTech Exchange event; we have been able to present the latest in these innovations. While many other FinTech events focus largely on consumer facing applications and services, our event is geared towards the financial markets and trading, which appeals more to the institutional and professional crowd. Overall, our focus on financial markets and trading related technology is a major differentiator," Mark Haraburda, CEO of Barchart, said in the release.
The program targets exchanges, proprietary trading companies, hedge funds, fintech firms, VC firms, market data providers, quants, among others. Tableau will be the keynote speaker and the program highlights include 10 engaging lightning rounds sponsored by CBOE, in-depth roundtable sessions, all-day exhibit hall, among others.
