"Attack on Titan" season 3 looks to be more exciting as episode 7 continues Eren and Historia's captivity under Rod Reiss. The previous episode also revealed much of Eren and Historia's past, specifically how the Founding Titan was apparently stolen from the Reiss family by Eren's father, who had consumed Historia's half-sister, Frieda.
It looks like that Lord Reiss plans to have Historia and Eren fight in their Titan forms so that Historia can consume Eren and regain the Founding Titan for the Reiss family. Tensions will definitely be high if Eren will try to prevent the Titan battle from happening while he is in chains. It has yet to be revealed how much control Eren has over his Titan form and if he will be able to stop himself from killing and consuming Historia were they to battle.
The upcoming “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7 preview does not reveal much about the upcoming Titan Battle. There is a possibility that episode 7 will be filled with more exposition that will reveal the madness of Lord Reiss' plans. The preview does show a few fight scenes with Survey Corps members but does not provide much information on who is being fought. It is clear though that “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7 is when the countdown starts between Eren and Historia's Titan battle.
Thankfully, Eren and Historia are not alone in the race against time. The previous episode saw Captain Erwin freed just in time for “Attack on Titan” episode 7, allowing him to lead a rescue party for Eren and Historia. Aside from the additional rescue party led by Erwin, Levi's scout squad is also on its way to rescue Eren and Historia.
Fans who are excited for the upcoming Titan showdown between Historia and Eren can look forward to “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7 airing on Sept. 2. Fans can stream the show's upcoming episode on Crunchyroll.
