The upcoming “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7 is titled “Wish” and it might feature an intense Titan battle between Eren and Historia. To make this happen, Rod might manipulate her daughter with her erased memories of Frieda.
As usual, only a very short preview of “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7 was provided at the end of the latest anime episode that aired on Monday. However, in the latter part of the trailer, the voiceover interestingly states, “Their many feelings lead straight towards battle.”
The “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7 preview also only shows Historia, Eren, and Rod. Eren will still be in chains, which suggests that Rod’s plan of pitting him against Historia is still in order.
Although the events shown in “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7 preview are very limited, fans can draw clues from what happened in the manga series. In chapter 63, Historia will slowly realize that Frieda had been a loving half-sister to her when she was younger. Historia will immediately think of Frieda dearly which, in turn, will become a source of her hatred toward Eren.
If the anime series will not drive away too much from the manga, “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7 might show how Eren will try his best to keep the Titan battle with Historia from happening. Eren is not afraid of fighting Historia, but he fears that his Titan will not hesitate from killing Historia and later consuming her.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Survey Corps member continues to their mission of rescuing Eren and Historia. Will they arrive just in time to foil Rod’s plan? That is something that could be answered in “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7.
For a quick recap, the events before “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7 was intense and filled with important flashback scenes. Eren finally recalled the day when Grisha injected him with the Titan serum and when Eren consumed his father’s Titan.
It was revealed that Grisha was in possession of the Attack Titan when he came to the Reiss chapel where Frieda, who then held Founding Titan, is located. Grisha and Frieda fought, which led to the latter’s demise. Grisha has since held the powers of the Attack and Founding Titans, which are currently with Eren. Getting this back to the Reiss bloodline is the whole motive of Rod in “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 7, which is slated to air on Sept. 2.
