Asian markets in red on geopolitical pressure from North Korea, gold hovers around $1,300 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a red note on last trading day of the week. Gold was trading around $1,297 mark while silver was trading around $17.02 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.35 percent lower at 20,276.55 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.91 percent lower at 27,854.19 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.40 pct higher at 5,677.30 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.3 pct at 3,347.16 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.3 pct at 3,826.46 points.

Taiwan stock was trading around 1.11 pct lower at 10,461.58 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.87 percent lower at 10,034.55 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.70 percent lower 32,145.91 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading at 0.84 percent lower at 2,386 points.
