‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ season 2’s episode 9, entitled “Home Again”, will follow Ash and his allies as they travel back in time to change events. Ash attempts to bring Pablo back while Ruby and Kelly make sure that young Ash doesn’t discover the Necronomicon.
The synopsis for “Home Again” posted on Comicbook.com reads, “Ash (Bruce Campbell) is distraught about losing Pablo (Ray Santiago) and is determined to bring him back!
Ruby (Lucy Lawless) and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) tag along as they travel back in time to make sure Young Ash never sees the Necronomicon. But the butterfly effect they create is something no one can believe!”
The incoming episode’s promo opened to Ruby saying, “Everybody dies.” Kelly retorts, “Yeah, easy for you to say. Pablo didn’t have to die.” The scene interspersed with Ash putting someone’s corpse in the trunk of a car.
Ash is then seen chugging down a bottle of what seems to be alcohol as Kelly demands, “You should not be behind the wheel of car.” However, he speeds up and they scream out as they are about to hit a man sitting just ahead.
In another scene, Ruby declares that the Necronomicon has just been opened. This sends everyone into a frenzy, with Ash saying, “This is gonna be our last tango.”
Episode 9 will follow Ash together with Ruby and Kelly as they attempt time travel to change events, unaware that tampering with the past will lead to serious consequences. Ash will also be desperate enough to bring Pablo back from the dead.
According to the preceding episode’s recap on TV Fanatic, Pablo was sliced in half during the final moments with the battle against Baal as they attempted to send the demon back to hell. It was a shocker to see a main character’s demise on the series.
‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ season 2’s episode 9, entitled “Home Again”, is scheduled to air on Starz on December 4, 2016. The penultimate episode was directed by Rick Jacobson and written by Jennifer Ames and Steve Turner. It will be followed by episode 10, entitled "Second Coming", slated for December 11.
The comedy-horror television series was developed by Sam Raimi, Ivan Raimi, and Tom Spezialy for Starz and is set in the ‘Evil Dead’ universe.
