SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 01, 2017 -- Aria Systems, the leader in helping enterprises grow subscription- and usage-based revenue, today announced it has been named a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Recurring Customer and Billing Management, Q3 2017 report. According to the report, “the leaders improve business agility; automate consequences to customer life-cycle changes; and provide actionable, recurring customer and revenue-focused insights.” The report evaluates vendors according to strategy, current offering and market presence, using 35 different evaluation criteria. In the evaluation, Aria Systems received the highest scores possible in seven criteria, including product vision and corporate focus, partner ecosystem, and delivery model.
Underlying the findings of the report is a growing market driven by business professionals who “see this software as a way to manage innovative business models and solve acute billing pain points with increasingly empowered customers.” More and more, these objectives can’t be met by legacy solutions, according to the report. As such, the report states that:
- 40% of global decision makers and influencers whose priority is to increase influence and brand reach in the market say they need to adopt new technology.
- 50% of global business and technology decision makers and influencers say increasing the use of the cloud is a priority over the next 12 months.
Forrester Research selected nine companies to evaluate, including Aria Systems, out of an extensive field of providers originally identified in the growing category. The Forrester Wave™ report specifically noted that Aria Systems “has a vision to help large enterprises implement business models and billing processes that can be based on an unlimited number of dimensions and controlled by highly configurable parameters.” In their vendor profile, Aria is cited as being “a good fit for businesses with multidimensional products/services that sell to companies with multilayered account hierarchies…” The report concluded that “the platform provides a high degree of flexibility for business model configurations and life-cycle management (i.e., managing amendments to customer accounts, products, or services and automating the consequences of customer life-cycle changes).”
“We are pleased to be recognized as a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Recurring Customer and Billing Management, Q3 2017 Report,” said Tom Dibble, President and CEO, Aria Systems. “We believe that the leader ranking, with the highest possible scores in product vision and corporate focus, and delivery model, validates our strategic direction and core capabilities — complementing large legacy systems with agile and efficient cloud billing and monetization capabilities that enable business users to bring a wider variety of product offerings to market more quickly.”
“Many enterprises find themselves burdened by legacy billing platforms that require coding and heavy IT intervention to introduce new offers, bundles and promotions,” continued Dibble. “With Aria, companies can ‘bill outside the box’, leveraging our agility layer to scale their enterprise billing operation and provide the flexibility and experience that their customers demand.”
