Freewallet, mobile-first cryptocurrency wallets, announced that Apple has approved Ethereum Wallet along with Bitcoin and Monero Wallets on the Apple App Store, enabling iOS customers to access their wallets.

The inclusion of wallets in Apple Store breaks the boundaries between cryptocurrencies and the majority of users.

“We are sharing Apple’s vision on product development. Keep-it-simple philosophy is what our users love about our products. Starting on iOS is a challenge for us, as iPhone users are much more sensitive to product design and user experience”, Alvin Hagg, Freewallet founder said in the official release.

The Ethereum, bitcoin and Monero Wallets, designed and developed by Freewallet team were released on 8th July 2016. It requires iOS 9.0 or higher and compatible with Phone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Freewallet which started less than 6 months ago has grown to 15K users. The wallet’s user base has been growing, without any marketing expenses and PR activities. Freewallet statistics showed that about 25% of the apps’ users are new to cryptocurrencies.

“Freewallet is more focused on product development and customer service, than on promotion. We prefer providing timely support to our customers, rather than doing massive PR. We believe brand, loyalty and trust are built on customer experience, not on marketing budgets,” Hagg added.

Legalizing the release of the company’s wallets on Apple Store was a challenge since Google Play is mostly open to any developers while performing on the Apple is possible only for developers that have a legal background. Freewallet’s apps are published under the Tech Castle legal name as it was developed under the mentorship of Tech Castles Ltd.

“Tech Castle has helped us a lot. We are mostly enthusiasts. And Tech Castle is a major partner that helps us with organizational procedures and legal advice,” Hadd said in the release.
