E-commerce experts at Black Friday Dealer search through live Black Friday and Cyber Monday prices on hundreds of popular consumer goods and list the deals on their website. The biggest online retailers still see Black Friday as the biggest sales event of the year thanks to shoppers’ seemingly endless enthusiasm for finding great deals. Last year shoppers spent $650 billion during the Black Friday sales week and this year’s total is expected to be up by 4.5% on 2016.
Whilst historically Black Friday has involved lengthy queues and chaotic scenes at retail stores, the transition to online deals has eased the pressure on brick and mortar sales. A survey from the National Retail federation found that more people shopped via the internet for the Black Friday weekend 2016 showing the growing importance of e-commerce to retailers.
This year deals begin online on Monday November 20th and run for an entire week through to Cyber Monday on November 27th.
