Apple has unveiled one of its biggest product updates in years, introducing the iPhone 17 lineup, the all-new iPhone Air, Apple Watch Series 11, and AirPods Pro 3. The iPhone 17 delivers significant upgrades with a 48MP Fusion Main camera, a new 48MP Ultra Wide lens for expansive shots and macro photography, and an enhanced Center Stage front camera. Its 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion offers brighter visuals and smoother performance, while the Ceramic Shield 2 triples scratch resistance and reduces glare. Powered by the A19 chip, the device balances speed with efficiency.
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max raise the bar further, featuring the A19 Pro chip, aluminum unibody with vapor chamber cooling, and a triple 48MP Fusion camera system that delivers eight lens equivalents, including Apple’s longest optical zoom at 8x. Advanced video features such as ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, and genlock push mobile videography to new levels. Both front and back now use Ceramic Shield 2 for extra durability.
Highlighting design innovation, the iPhone Air is Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever. Built with titanium and a redesigned internal structure, it pairs elegance with strength. Its 6.5-inch ProMotion display runs up to 120Hz, while a unique combination of the A19 Pro, N1, and C1X chips ensures unmatched efficiency and all-day battery life. The iPhone Air also offers a 48MP Fusion Main camera with four lens options and an 18MP Center Stage selfie camera.
Apple expanded its ecosystem with the Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch SE 3, which add advanced health tracking, 5G connectivity, and longer battery life. AirPods Pro 3 now feature stronger noise cancellation, built-in heart rate monitoring, and real-time translation across languages. Despite the sweeping updates, Apple shares dipped 1.5% in afternoon trading.
