Fast food chains are known for their playful pranks on April Fools' Day. Priced at 40,000 yen, the Golden Super Combo pizza is covered entirely in gold leaf, adding a touch of luxury to Aoki's menu.

A press release reported that the Golden Super Combo, a lavish twist on Aoki's popular "Super Combo" pizza, is adorned with pepperoni, bacon, Italian sausage, onions, green pepper, fresh mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, and extra cheese. By gilding the pizza with gold leaf, Aoki's aims to capture the ostentatious spirit of Nagoya, where the color gold symbolizes luck and prosperity.
