Anduril Industries has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ExoAnalytic Solutions, a national security firm specializing in space situational awareness and missile defense technology. The move signals Anduril's growing ambitions in the space defense sector as competition intensifies around President Donald Trump's Golden Dome initiative — an ambitious program designed to create a space-based missile shield capable of neutralizing ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missile threats.
Golden Dome has attracted hundreds of defense contractors eager to secure a stake in what could become one of the most consequential defense programs in recent history. Anduril already received a contract in late November for space-based interceptor development, and this latest acquisition is widely seen as a strategic move to strengthen its competitive position.
Founded on advanced missile defense algorithms, ExoAnalytic has since evolved into a global leader in space tracking technology. The company operates a network of over 400 telescope systems deployed across the world, providing persistent, high-fidelity monitoring of thousands of objects in deep space. Beyond hardware, ExoAnalytic brings extensive expertise in modeling, simulation, and software solutions used across classified national security space programs, including missile warning systems.
Anduril's Senior Vice President of Engineering, Gokul Subramanian, described the deal as transformative for the company's space division, noting it would accelerate capabilities in space sensing, tracking, battle management, and fire control systems.
This acquisition marks Anduril's first under its dedicated space business unit and its 11th overall. By merging ExoAnalytic's expansive sensor network and data analytics with Anduril's strengths in autonomy and command-and-control systems, the combined organization aims to deliver next-generation solutions for national security challenges in the space domain.
Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals.
