“American Horror Story” Season 8 Episode 8 is going to add fuel to the conflict between Michael (Cody Fern) and the coven of witches that means to get rid of him. The previous episode saw Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) negotiating with Legba (Lance Reddick), with their exchange ending on a sour note, Entertainment Weekly reported.
But Cordelia refusing Legba’s terms makes sense since the prize the gatekeeper was asking is far too high even with the fate of the world on the line. The meeting left Cordelia in low spirits as her powers gradually waned. However, “American Horror Story” Season 8 Episode 8 will still see Cordelia confronting Michael despite her current state.
Although this isn’t going to bode well for the headmistress, she’s got a couple of daggers up her sleeve, thanks to the sleuthing done by Madison (Emma Roberts) and Behold (Billy Porter). And while Langdon is far more powerful than anyone on the show, his accomplices have already been eliminated. “American Horror Story” Season 8 Episode 8 will also have Langdon panicking about what to do next as the weight of his position bears down on his shoulders.
Left with no allies and no plans going forward, Michael is going to be enlisting the help of unlikely characters in order to fulfill his desire to spark the apocalypse. However, it seems that Cordelia is several steps ahead of the Antichrist himself as she says in the trailer of “American Horror Story” Season 8 Episode 8 that Michael has already failed.
Of course, being the Antichrist, Michael isn’t going to just roll over and let the witches snatch his victory. And with his immense power at his disposal, there’s no telling what this villain will do next now that he’s been backed into a corner. “American Horror Story” Season 8 Episode 8 is titled “Sojourn” and is slated to air on Oct. 31.
