‘American Crime’ season 3’s episode 4 will follow Luis as he finally learns of his son’s fate. Meanwhile, Jeanette will continue her struggles against the poor working conditions as well as deaths at her husband’s farm.
The synopsis for episode 4 posted on TV Guide reads, “Luis (Benito Martinez) learns his son's fate as Coy (Connor Jessup) devises a plan to get himself off the farm. Meanwhile, Jeanette (Felicity Huffman) pleads her case to Laurie Ann (Cherry Jones) about the working conditions in the field;
and business owner Nicholas Coates (Timothy Hutton) struggles to make a profit in a difficult market as his wife decides to hire a Haitian woman to be their son's nanny.”
It seems that Luis will finally discover his son’s fate in the upcoming episode. The father from Mexico struggled to find his missing son and arrived in North Carolina and was forced to seek work while on his mission.
In the previous episode, Luis’ desperate search for his son led him to a man who remembered seeing the boy on another farm. It also led him to Coy, Diego (Clayton Cardenas), and Isaac (Richard Cabral).
Jeanette, on the other hand, will have plenty to deal with in the upcoming episode. She is set to plead her case to Laurie Ann about the poor working conditions in the farm. According to a recap of episode 3 posted on Vulture, Jeanette discovered that more than a dozen workers died in the field and grew increasingly anxious about the lack of action being done against it.
Although her husband offered little support, she found an ally in her brother-in-law J.D. (Tim DeKay), who is increasingly shocked at the cover-ups of the deaths at Hensby Farms.
Meanwhile, Nicholas will struggle with his business as his wife, Claire, decided to provide a Haitian woman with a visa in order to let her work as their son’s nanny.
‘American Crime’ season 3’s episode 4 was directed by Steph Green and written by Sonay Hoffman. It is scheduled to air on ABC on April 2, 2017. It will be followed by episode 5, which is expected to air on April 9 and directed by Tanya Hamilton.
