BATON ROUGE, La., May 03, 2017 -- Amedisys, one of the nation’s leading home healthcare, hospice and personal care companies, today unveiled a new logo companywide during its Q1 earnings call.
The new graphic depicts a home, with an arrow shaped into a rooftop and a medical cross serving as a window, all surrounded by a circle. The logo uses a more contemporary font and new green color to radiate vitality and good health.
“The new, more inviting logo is designed to better represent our company’s central mission – to deliver compassionate clinical care to the home – as well as to position Amedisys as an innovative, forward-thinking leader in the healthcare profession,” said Amedisys President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Kusserow. “The circle that encompasses the home, for example, signifies our clinical teamwork and dedication to the full continuum of care.”
The new logo, a year in the making, will appear today on signage outside the company’s headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and its executive office in Nashville, Tennessee. In coming months, the logo will also materialize on the company’s collateral, patient materials and online.
“The new logo we’re rolling out also symbolizes something that goes even deeper – that Amedisys is a company transforming and very much on the upswing,” said Kusserow. “Our performance has improved in every possible respect – strategically, clinically, financially and operationally. None of that could have happened without our more than 16,000 staff members committing themselves every day of the year to providing the highest possible quality of care to patients and their families.”
