Amazon said Dr. Ng is an assistant professor at Stanford University. He is well-known as a veteran inventor with extensive experience as a business leader in multiple tech companies, such as Baidu and Google's Google Brain.

"We are pleased to welcome Dr. Andrew Ng to our Board of Directors effective April 9, 2024," Amazon said in a statement.
