“Alaskan Bush People” season 10 is sure to return after Discovery Channel renewed the show for another run. It was previously reported that Ami Brown was really worried when the ratings for the last season was lower than expected since it could mean the end of their reality show.
However, they managed to boost the ratings and got decent results when the “Alaskan Bush People” season 9 finale was aired. The family was reportedly thrilled when it reached them that there is an order for a fresh batch of episodes since their source of income is not doomed after all.
“Billy and Ami were just informed this week that the network would like to do another season and of course they were on board,” a source told Radar Online. “They were a bit worried because of lower than usual ratings last season, but after the finale brought in big numbers for them, they knew that season 10 would likely be happening.”
Matt’s return uncertain
But while “Alaskan Bush People” season 10 is already confirmed, the return of Billy and Ami Brown’s eldest son, Matt, remained unknown. This is because the Brown patriarch and his son have not settled their difference yet.
Matt was kicked out of the show last year due to his addiction to alcohol. He entered a rehab facility, but he relapsed, and this made Billy angry. The 37-year-old then packed his bag and headed to California, where he is currently living with his girlfriend.
Billy does not want Matt to return if he will not sober up. Ami is worried about her son, but her husband is determined to push him away if he will not change; thus, their father and son feud is ongoing.
What to expect
On the lighter side, “Alaskan Bush People” season 10 is expected to feature Gabe and Raquell’s June wedding. This is their second wedding as they already tied the knot in Washington last Jan. 14. The two planned the second ceremony because they want a more intimate one with friends and family.
New member of the family and reunion
“Alaskan Bush People” season 10 may also feature a new member of the Brown family as Gabe and Raquell are already expecting their first child. Reunions are also likely because there is a possibility that Matt would be welcomed back home plus Noah Brown and his wife, Rhain may come home as well as they are currently in Colorado.
