'Ahsoka' Season 2 Release Date, Spoilers and Theories: Everything We Know So Far

Here is everything we know so far about the yet-to-be-confirmed "Ahsoka" Season 2.

“Ahsoka” Season 2 has yet to be confirmed, but fans are already wondering what will happen next. The first installment ended with its titular hero (Rosario Dawson) adrift in another galaxy with Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo).

The vicious Grand Admiral Thrawn has also escaped the distant galaxy and returned to the main setting of Star Wars, ready to reestablish the Galactic Empire. As fans await details, here is everything we know so far about the rumored “Ahsoka” Season 2.

Ahsoka’ Season 2 Release Date

Lucasfilm has yet to confirm that “Ahsoka” Season 2 is indeed happening. However, EpicFlix reported that the second installment would likely be released before Dave Filoni's theatrical film, which makes perfect sense given how the plot ended. But, then again, neither Lucasfilm nor Disney have announced Season 2, so everything is still up in the air.

MyTimeToShineHello, a trustworthy source, claimed that “Ahsoka” Season 2 is "a go." As of this writing, this news has not been confirmed by Disney or Lucasfilm.

It is worth noting that the scooper has an excellent track record and a strong reputation for being a trusted source. Fans should take this “Ahsoka” Season 2 speculation with a grain of salt until we hear an official update from Lucasfilm or Disney.

Ahsoka’ Season 2 Spoilers and Theories

Deadline reported that “Ahsoka” Season 2 is actually "more of a reality in conversation at Lucasfilm and Disney." Ahsoka, which is part of the MandoVerse, an interconnected Star Wars narrative on Disney+, was not guaranteed a second installment, but the conclusion of the Rosario Dawson-led series could have been reserved for another connected series or Dave Filoni's upcoming MandoVerse film, in which Thrawn is expected to be the main antagonist.

The continuing actors' strike is one potential explanation for the lack of an official update on “Ahsoka” Season 2. Unless the “Ahsoka” cast agreed to return for future Star Wars productions before the strike began, the actors will be unable to begin signing for a second installment until the strike is over.
